Monday Weather Update
We are off and running for another week. Let's take a look at how things are going to turn out for us weather wise today.

Yesterday was pretty sweet in terms of the weather. Today will be no exception!

Saturday Weather Update
The sun will dominate clear skies today. Cool dry air is in place and this is going to be a Saturday that feels great! I just finished doing lawn work and it was like mowing with the A/C on!

Friday Weather Update
Storms and showers have moved on and the sun is out! Drier air is moving in and if you are heading to one of the football games in the county tonight. It is going to feel great! Kickoff temps will be in the low 70's with clear skies and by the end of the game you might need a light jacket.
Weekly Drought Update 9/29/16
The rain has certainly returned for us over the course of this week. However, not enough to pull us out of the abnormal drought conditions we have been facing over the past few weeks. The good news is the southeast corner of the county is out of the drought.
Thursday Weather Update
Cooler drier air has been toying with us all week. It has stayed to our west providing us with these rainy afternoons and evenings we have been dealing with and offering a tease that it would come through the area to give us cooler temps.
Wednesday Weather Update
No question we are in a wet pattern here in the county. I honestly can't wait to see the drought reports tomorrow to see if this has changed our current drought stage. Rain and storms are likely again today. I will get to that in a moment. Lets start off with the high temperature today.
September 26th Rainfall Event. Was it a record setter?
Without question we got a lot of rain yesterday and it came in many waves. The first wave passed through the county yesterday morning and delivered 1.31 inches of rain here at the weather center while folks in other areas of the county say less than a half of an inch.
Tuesday Weather Update
We have certainly had a wet start to the work week and day 2 will be no exception as more rain is and will move through the county throughout the day. We are definitely making up for some lost rainfall this month and it looks like September decided to save the best for last.
Monday Weather Update
We have already had quite a bit of rain today and I am expecting a line of showers and storms to move through again later this evening. The good news is once that line moves through we will be on the front edge of what will be cooler more seasonable weather in the county.
