2016 - 2017 Long Range Winter Forecast
Every year on Halloween Day I release the Long Ranger Winter Forecast for Rowan County. Now please let me start out by saying as you know from my style of forecasting I am not a big fan of any long range forecast. The reason for that is there is a lot of uncertainty beyond 4 to 5 days out.
Trick Or Treat Forecast (3rd Look)
W are now just two days away from the little ones heading out on Halloween night to get into the annual pilgrimage of trick or treat. As they go out looking for candy and other treats while being dressed as their favorite character of choice.
Thursday Weather Update
Rain chances are in the forecast for the day but unfortunately not enough rain is coming to make a difference in the dry conditions we have been experiencing here in the county over the month.
Trick Or Treat Forecast (Second Look)
Yesterday I provided you with a first look on the Trick or Treat Forecast. In that I stated that I would post an update daily on the forecast as things would most likely change a little with the temperature. The conditions will be dry so no worries for rain.
Wednesday Weather Update
Today will be the last day we are going to be in the 60's for highs for at least the next 4-6 days. So lets take advantage of it and enjoy it! The high today will top out around 67º
Trick Or Treat Forecast (First Look)
We are closing in on Halloween Night. When all of the little ones get dressed up as ghost, goblins, princesses, super hero's and so on. The question always remains is will their costume be warm enough? So let's take a look at what to expect.
Tuesday Weather Update
Things are certainly a little cooler out there today compared to how they were yesterday. It's going to be another dry and comfortable day outside. The high temperature will top out around 66º
Monday Weather Update
Conditions will be slightly warmer today but then we return back to the 60's starting tomorrow. The high today will top out around 75º
Sunday Weather Update
What a cold start to the day we had! Started out with temperatures around the county ranging from 35-40º We will see plenty of sunshine today and temperatures will be very seasonal and fall like. The high today will top out at around 69º
Saturday Weather Update
A nice fall feel to the air today! I just got back from taking our dog for a walk and we both enjoyed the chill in the air!
The high today will top out at 61º
