Monday Weather Update

We have already had quite a bit of rain today and I am expecting a line of showers and storms to move through again later this evening. The good news is once that line moves through we will be on the front edge of what will be cooler more seasonable weather in the county. Let's get through today first.

The High today will be around 82º

The dew point today is into he upper 60's making the air feel a little uncomfortable outside.

The low tonight will bottom out around 66º

We have already had some areas around the county with over an inch and a half of rain today while others have only seen a few sprinkles. I am not going to post model data for the rain as the models are having a hard time handling the current situation. I do expect a line to move into the county later tonight form the mountains that could bring more downpours along with some isolated thunderstorms. Much like some of us had this morning around the county. I will provide updates right here and on social media throughout the day. As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
