Abnormally Dry Conditions Return
Is your lawn starting to look like the title image in this blog? Sadly enough there is a reason for that. We are lacking rain in a big way in Rowan County for the year. We have not had any measurable rainfall in the county for 13 straight days now and the chances are pretty slim for the weekend.
Thursday Weather Update
We are closing in on the end of another week and the weather is continuing to blend a little more into a seasonal feel.
The high today will top out around 86º
Wednesday Weather Update
We are midway through the week and the outside air feels pretty good with dew points in the low 60's. Sunny skies today with highs in the 80's and lows in the 60's. Lets take a look at the details.
The low will bottom out at around 65º
Tuesday Weather Update
It's been kind of a foggy more fall like start to the day. The sun will burn off the fog and low lying clouds as we move through the day and take us into the 80's for the high. The dew points are down a little today giving us some slight relief.
Monday Weather Update
Today has been one of those days where I can't keep up. Sorry for getting this out so late everyone! Temps are certainly going to be cooler today than they have been over the past few days as the 80's are off and running. Now if we can do something about those dew points.
Sunday Weather Update
Today marks the first day of what appears to be the begining of cooler weather for the foreseeable future. The highs look to be in the 80's over the forecast period with rain chances being isolated over the next 3 days.
Saturday Weather Update
We could be experiencing our last 90º of the year as models over the next week show us cooling down to more fall like temperatures. So we just have to suck it up for at least one more day then we can start to see cooler weather work its way in.
