Thursday Weather Update
This has certainly been a very breezy day. I have had many of you questioning why it is so windy. I am going to explain that in just a few moments in this blog. First let's take a look at what you can expect form the weather today.

Wednesday Weather Update
Severe weather is likely in the area today but I think it stays west and north of us. The SPC is showing a marginal risk for us but the threat is a little higher in eastern TN.
Tuesday Weather Update
We are having another nice mild spring like day here in the county. The real kicker is. It's not spring. We are still in the winter. Things will start to get a little more active weather wise starting very late tonight and into the day tomorrow.

Sunday Weather Update
We started out the day with a weak little disturbance that brought on a very fast moving passing of sleet this morning across the county. If you were sleeping you missed it. This did cause some slick spots on the roadways especially in the Kannapolis area this morning.
Are you seeing plants bloom in your yard?
Even though as I type this we are dealing with one of the colder days this winter. There is no argument this has been a rather warm and mild winter overall. Yes I know we had 4.9 inches of snow officially at the airport in the month of January which is above average. That was only one event.
Saturday Weather Update
It's a cold Saturday. There's no doubt when you took a step outside this morning the cold air cut right through you. The high today will top out at around 44º
Friday Weather Update
The clouds are out this morning but they will move out as we move into the evening and skies will be clear overnight. The big problem with that is the heat that builds up during the day will escape and we are going to get COLD tonight. The high today will top out at around 44º
Thursday Weather Update
The sun is shining but the air is definitely a little cooler. I am forecasting a slight chance of rain this evening however, the farther north you are the chance of you seeing rain becomes pretty non existent. The high today will top out at around 59º
