Friday Weather Update
We are already well into the day today and as you can tell the outside air temperature is not as hot as it has been but we are still a bit on the sticky and uncomfortable side.
The high today will top out around 84º
Thursday Weather Update
It's going to be a very hot uncomfortable day today but the weekend is going to feel great! As far as today is concerned. Look for possible storm development later this afternoon and evening. Storms could be severe at times with the cold front approaching later this evening.
Wednesday Weather Update
We are midway through the week and getting closer to a fantastic weather weekend! Before we get there though we have to make it through today. The highs today will be in the low 90's with 92º around 4 pm today.
Tuesday Weather Update
The heat is back on today. I forecasted a 20% chance of isolated showers for later this evening. However, I think that will not occur as most of the activity looks to remain to our south today. The high will be in the low 90's at around 91º by 4 pm.
Monday Weather Update
As we start off a new week here in Rowan County. We are getting a bit of a break from extreme heat. Instead of highs in the 90's today we will be in the mid to upper 80-'s for the high today. Looking at 87º for the high at 4 pm this afternoon.
Sunday Weather Update
The heat continues today as we are on our way to another day in the 90's. Looks for the high to top out around 93º today.
Saturday Weather Update
The heat is on today and tomorrow. The Air Quality Alert is out as ground ozone levels will have an effect on people with respiratory issues. Stay inside as much as you can today and limit outdoor activities.
The high's today will be in the low to mid 90's
Friday Weather Update
As we head into the weekend the heat will start to ramp up. Today will be the coolest day we have for the foreseeable future and today is not going to be cool by anyone's standards.

Today is the last day of cool air as tomorrow and over the next several days the heat will be on! Today we will see highs top out in the low 80's
