Monday Weather Update
As we are now into the afternoon hours storms and showers are approaching the county. First lets talk about how today is shaping out. We should tope out with a high of 89º
Sunday Weather Update
You could sure tell a difference yesterday afternoon when the northeast flow of air started pushing into the county as the air felt cooler outside. We also saw a reduction in the dew point temperatures which certainly made things feel better outside. Those trends continue at least for today.
Saturday Weather Update
As we start to get into the heart of the weekend. A northeast breeze will help pull some of the humidity out of the air. We are going to see a slight cool down (If you can think of temperatures in the mid to upper 80's as a cool down) We will also have drier air.
Friday Weather Update
We have made it to the end of the week. The weather is trying to go out with a bang this Friday. A few things that will be a little dynamic today is how the temperature will fluctuate throughout the day with the storm potential. Looking for a high around 90º
Thursday Weather Update
Today is going to be a hot miserable day. There is no need in sugar coating this at all.
Look for highs in the mid to upper 90's today.
Drought Conditions make their way into Rowan County
Well it's not quite as dry as the cover photo shows but as of the latest drought monitor update. Abnormally dry conditions have returned to parts of the county.
Wednesday Weather Update
As we are now Midway through the week rain chances are a little more likely in today's weather pattern.
Looking at a high of 91º at around 4pm today.
Tuesday Weather Update
We are in the early afternoon hours on Tuesday and even though we have a chance for isolated showers and storms. I am not to confident we see much of anything until late tonight if we get anything at all.
Monday Weather Update
Happy First Day of Summer! Let's take a look at how this first day of Summer is going to treat us.
First of all let's take a look at the high today. The models are indicating we will be at 86º today around 4pm. This is where we should about top out at.
Saturday Weather Update
If you have been outside today there is no denying it feels great! Not much to really blog about today other than the high temperature will be in the low 80's today. 83º at 4pm.
