The good news for today is sunshine and warmer temperatures will prevail! This is going to be a more seasonal like day by April standards. The average high for April 13th is 58.6º Todays high will be in the low to mid 60's.
Tuesday Morning Weather Update
Well this Tuesday Morning has certainly been off to a wet start. The good news it is not as wet as predicted by many weather outlets around the area. Here at Rowan County Weather the totals predicted before this event were in a range of a half of an inch to an inch.

We are currently on pace for the driest Spring season in history for Rowan County. With only 1.38 inches total so far this Spring.
Rain moving in for your Tuesday
As we enjoy this sunny Monday. Things will be much different for our Tuesday. Rain will move in during the overnight hours tonight & be around most of the day on Tuesday. Nothing severe is expected out of this system. Accumulations will be around three quarters of an inch to an inch total.
