A strong thunderstorm is moving through southeastern Rowan County this evening, bringing the potential for gusty winds and small hail.

  • Location: 10 miles northwest of Badin Lake, or 6 miles southeast of High Rock Lake

  • Movement: East at 10 mph

  • Hazards:

    • Wind gusts up to 40 mph
