Severe Weather and Strong Winds this morning

● Severe thunderstorms may still develop through morning hours. The main hazard is damaging winds. However, an isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
● Isolated nuisance flooding is possible, mainly across the southwest NC mountains and the GA/SC mountains.
● Severe thunderstorm redevelopment this afternoon looks very low.
● Gusty winds will linger into the afternoon hours. Severe Weather Risk this Morning

Locally heavy rain will continue through the morning hours. Isolated nuisance flooding is possible, mainly across the southwest North Carolina mountains and the Georgia and South Carolina mountains.

Gusty winds will linger through this afternoon and the Wind Advisory remains in effect though 2pm.

Frequent gusts from 30-40 mph with an occasional gust up to 50 mph.
