CARS: Logan Clark Foundation Charity Golf Tournament

About the Foundation & This Year's Mission:

• The Logan Clark Foundation was established in 2012, hosting small fundraisers at numerous types of events such as car shows, barrel races, etc. Over the last 12 years, the foundation has supported several nationally recognized non-profits in all of our efforts. Throughout that time, the golf tournament came along, which is now our largest annual event, raising tens of thousands of dollars in the last 4 years. In 2024, The Logan Clark Foundation elected to direct its proceeds to the purchase of a dual-purpose, narcotic and electronic detection K9. Electronic detection K9s are trained to sniff certain chemicals found on electronic devices, such as microSD cards, USB drives, cellular devices, and more. One of the larger focuses of these dogs is to assist officials in finding sexual abuse evidence relating to child trafficking and other sex crimes. The K9 will be placed at a police department in central Virginia, which is TBA.

General Tournament Information For Competitors/Teams and Other Potential Participants:

• The 2024 Logan Clark Foundation Golf Tournament will take place at The Golf Club at Mattaponi Springs on June 13^th, 2024, the Thursday prior to the CARS Tour event at Dominion Raceway. Mattaponi Springs is located approx. 26 minutes from Dominion Raceway. Registration is open to all who wish to participate at $400 per team, or $100/player. The registration fee includes a light lunch, full dinner, 2 complimentary beverage tickets, access to the driving range prior to the tournament, the chance to win prizes with the included raffle tickets, and more. Contests within the tournament include closest to the pin, longest drive, and the Lexus hole-in-one challenge, offering a chance to win a free Lexus!
