Southeastern Rowan County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 801 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles northeast
of Downtown Concord, or 4 miles northwest of Mt Pleasant, moving
northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
Downtown Concord, Spencer, Granite Quarry, Rockwell, Mt Pleasant,
Faith, High Rock Lake, Gold Hill, Salisbury, and Kannapolis.
