Sunday Weather Update

Sunday, September 11, 2016 - 10:27am

Today marks the first day of what appears to be the begining of cooler weather for the foreseeable future. The highs look to be in the 80's over the forecast period with rain chances being isolated over the next 3 days. Dew Points will keep the air feeling at an uncomfortbale level today as the atmosphere starts to mositen up.

The high today will top out around 87º

Dew Points in the mid to upper 60's will make the outside air feel uncomfortable today.

The low will come later tonight at around 65º

There is a 30% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms later this afternoon and evening as the cold front makes its way toward the county. I would not look for much in the way of accumulation as models indicate we barely see any at all.

Enjoy your Sunday everyone! If showers and storms start to make their wy toward and into the county I wil provide updates right here on the website as well as on social media. As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
