The playoffs are on the line for Charlotte FC

Charlotte FC has only two matches remaining in the regular season, both against Inter Miami CF. The team travels to Florida for the first match tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET, before returning home to Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, October 21 at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Currently, CLTFC controls their own destiny in the playoff race. Two wins in the final two matches this week would put the team in 8th place regardless of results in other matches on Decision Day. This would mean Charlotte FC hosts the Wild Card playoff match at Bank of America Stadium between the 8 and 9 seeds.

Today’s match against Miami is on a rescheduled date after the original match was postponed due to both clubs advancing in the knockout rounds of Leagues Cup. This is the only MLS match scheduled for the midweek and is CLTFC’s long-awaited game in hand, meaning they can vault all the way to 8th place with three points tonight.
