Charlotte FC vs. Seattle Sounders FC

Charlotte FC will match up with Seattle Sounders FC for the second time in Club history on Saturday night. In the first game between the sides, the Sounders won at home in a second half comeback after Ben Bender opened the scoring early on.

The Crown are returning to Bank of America Stadium after a tough 4-game road stand where they lost three of four (including a loss in the Open Cup) but beat the LA Galaxy 1-0. Last time out at home, the Club had their five-game home winning streak snapped by Nashville SC, so Head Coach Christian Lattanzio’s side will be looking to bounce back to their winning ways behind the home crowd.

Seattle is also in the midst of a tough stretch after being kept scoreless in their last two games and only scoring once in their last four. They do still sit in second place in the Western Conference, but they have played at least one more match than the majority of the conference.

Weather for the match will be almost perfect by June standards. Sunny skies with some hazy conditions through the day and into the evening with clear skies. Temperatures for tailgating will be around 80° with match time temperatures starting in the upper 70's and falling to the upper 60;'s by the end of the match. Winds will be out of the south around 5mph for the match with dew points in the mid 50's making it feel comfortable on the pitch.
