Monday Weather Update

As we start off a new week here in Rowan County. We are getting a bit of a break from extreme heat. Instead of highs in the 90's today we will be in the mid to upper 80-'s for the high today. Looking at 87º for the high at 4 pm this afternoon.

The dew points will feel excellent today only in the upper 40's

Warmer and more humid air moving in later this evening and hanging around for the week.

Please remember that if you are out and about with your children or pets. Do not leave them in your vehicle alone without the air conditioning on. The interior of your vehicle on an 80º can heat up to over 100º in about 20 minutes.
