Sunday Weather Update

The heat continues today as we are on our way to another day in the 90's. Looks for the high to top out around 93º today.

The dew points will be in the upper 50's to low 60's

The air even though hot will at least feel comfortable for the 90's

Remember please do not leave children and pets in cars without the air conditioner running. I can't stress this enough. Internal Temperatures in a car when the outside air is 80º can reach over 100º internally in around 20 minutes. That time is far less with 90º temperatures outside of the car.

Remember the Air Quality Alert in place for today. Limit outdoor activities. As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
