Farmers Day Update and First Look Forecast

We are just 5 days away from Farmers Day 2019 in China Grove! I am honored to be back once again providing onsite weather updates to event organizers. The forecast currently gives us a 30% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms during the early hours of the event. As we transition through the day we will begin to see Mostly Sunny skies with a high of around 94° If you are coming out that morning I will also be at the Main Stage located in Hannah Park to once again emcee the Little Mr/Ms Farmer's Day Pageant. 

This event is always a fun time for the little ones, along with their parents and other spectators. If you come out for the pageant please feel free to say hello and chat weather with me. It is one of my favorite subjects. 

Another exciting addition for Rowan County Weather at this years Farmers Day event is the Rowan County Weather Car that will be on display. The graphics were completed by Omega Graphics in Kannapolis North Carolina. Omega is also responsible for the Farmers Day T-shirts that will be available for purchase at Farmers Day.

If you are concerned about parking at the event. This years event has Trolley rides that will shuttle you into the event and take you back to your vehicle when you are ready to depart.
