Rain returns later this evening

Happy Thursday everyone! We will get our next round of rain here in the county later this evening. Let's take a quick look at what to expect.

Rain will begin to move into the county as we move into the hours of the evening commute. We will likely see light rain start to move through the county around 5-6pm this evening. More moderate rainfall will move in as we head into the 7-9pm timeframe.

As we move into the late evening hours after 9pm. We will start to see rain become very isolated and spotty as the activity begins to pull out of the county and move off to our east. Shower activity will continue to remain very spotty and isolated as we move through the overnight hours of tonight into early Friday morning. 

Accumulation around the county will be very light as we will likely see less than a tenth of an inch of accumulation. I will of course keep you updated right here an on social media as we move through the day. As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
