A mild Friday with afternoon isolated showers

As we are winding down the workweek. We will see a chance for rain on the evening commute. The story for today is how high the temperature will reach today. The record high is 75º set on this date in 1976. I am forecasting a high of 77º today.

A cold front will move through later this evening. bringing rain with it. The temperatures will drop back to around 41º late this evening. 

Showers will move through later afternoon during the commute home. Not anything severe but you still need to slow the speeds down just a bit on your way home this evening.

Not looking for much in the way of accumulation from the rain. a tenth of an inch or less likely

We will see wind gust at a pretty high level today. Gust of around 30 miles per hour are possible. mainly from the atmospheric change form the cold front that will be moving though.
