Afternoon rain showers possible

Rain continues to be a part of the forecast. Today is no exception. I m tracking some rain showers moving through eastern Tennessee. These showers will arrive in the county later this afternoon. Around midday we will see showers starting to move into western portions of the county.

Showers will begin to move through the county and we will see some light rain falling all around the county as we close in on the end of school hours today. So if you head out to pick up the kids. take the rain gear with you.

We will see very light accumulations. Looking at less than a tenth of an inch around the county. Again these rains will be very light when they move through. 

The high temperature today will top out at around 59º 

The low tonight will not be far off the high. Looking to bottom out at around 51º. Mainly due to cloud cover trapping in heating of the day.

Winds will be gusty today up to around 25 miles per hour.
