There is a slight chance of rain today but more isolated than last evenings rain event. We will see some isolated showers move into the county around the 4pm hour this evening.

Do not look for much in the way of accumulation less than a tenth of an inch is likely as this will be light rain at best.

We will see a high of around 50º today. that's 15º cooler than yesterdays high.

The low tonight will bottom out at around 35º

As far as the snow chatter for the rest of the week. That's really all its going to amount to is chatter. I reported yesterday that you might see a wet snowflake or two. However, the data is not really even supporting that now. Chalk anything up that you see flying around from other outlets about this as nothing of concern for Rowan County. There's just nothing really jumping out in any of the data that is showing me any concerns for snow as we continue to move through the week. As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
