Rain this morning gives way to Fall this evening.
We are on the verge of some of our coolest temperatures of the season starting later this evening. We have a little bit of rain to deal with this morning. Once it moves out around midday things start to improve and cool down.

The high today will top out around 65º

You will likely have to dust off the furnace or fireplaces later this evening as we drop down to the 40's for lows around the county.

We will see some sustained winds around the county today at around 12 miles per hour.

We will see some wind guts of around 18 - 20 miles per hour around the county today as well.

As far as accumulation for rain we will see only around a tenth of an inch around the county once things are all said and done.

I will provide updates right here and on social media throughout the day. As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
