Next Round of Rain arrives on Wednesday

Tuesday, April 4, 2017 - 8:49am

We will enjoy sunshine today and highs near 80º

Our next round of rain arrives tomorrow and a severe weather threat moves in late tomorrow night and into the overnight hours on Thursday. As far as what we will see during the day on Wednesday.

Rain will arrive in time for the evening commute. This will be nothing severe at this point just general rain showers and maybe a rumble of thunder. Nothing like what we saw yesterday in the area.

Helicity values are a little high for tomorrow during the day but nothing to concerning at this point.

By the end of day tomorrow we could see around a quarter of an inch for accumulation around the county. Most of the heavy rains and storms comes through during the overnight hours and into Thursday morning. I will have a separate update on those storms later today right here on the website. I will of course keep you posted as always right here and on social media. As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
