China Grove I-85, Mile Marker 61 to 68, Heading North Near NC-152 (NC-152) Road Closed with Detour - Expected Impact to traffic is High	Start Time

Lane Construction will be closing northbound I 85 between exits #63 (Lane St.) and #68 (China Grove / U S 29/ N C 152) to remove the existing NC 152 bridge over I 85.

Lane Construction will be closing southbound I 85 between exits #63 (Lane St.) and #68 (China Grove / U S 29/ N C 152) to remove a portion of the existing NC 152 bridge over I 85.

Construction of four additional travel lanes (two in each direction) to approximately 5 miles of I-85 from north of Lane Street (Exit 63) to north of NC152 (Exit 68) in Rowan County. Interchange improvements are also planned for interchanges at NC152 (MM 68) and Old Beatty Ford (MM 65). Bridges between Lane Street and NC 152 will also be replaced for I-85 expansion.
This project will complete the expansion of I-85 through Rowan County, providing a greater level of service for local and through traffic. The Contractor will need to have nightly lane closures along I-85 for construction of the I-85 widening project . Closures can take place in the inside or in the outside lanes. Closures could be located on North Bound or South Bound of I-85.

East of Granite Quarry SR-1004 (Stokes Ferry Rd), Both Directions Near SR-2136 (SR-2136) Road Closed with Detour - Expected Impact to traffic is High	Start Time

Stokes Ferry Road (SR 1004) will be closed between Liberty Road (SR 2140) and Agner Road (SR 2136) so that DOT Bridge Maintenance forces can do maintenance work on the bridge that crosses over High Rock Lake.
