It's Monday Morning and time for the weekly Road Closures Update. Please note any roads not listed below are currently listed as permanently closed by the NCDOT

 

China Grove Through 2/22/2017

Night Time Construction: Road Closed with Detour

 Lane Construction will be closing northbound I 85 between exits #63 (Lane St.) and #68 (China Grove / U S 29/ N C 152) to remove the existing Lentz Road bridge over I 85.

 

China Grove Through 3/1/2017

Night Time Construction: Road Closed with Detour

 Lane Construction will be closing southbound I 85 between exits #63 (Lane St.) and #68 (China Grove / U S 29/ N C 152) to remove the existing Lentz Road bridge over I 85.

 

China Grove Through 6/30/2019

Construction: Lane Closed

 The Contractor will need to have nightly lane closures along I-85 to preform investigation work for the upcoming I-85 widening project. Closures can take place in the inside or in the outside lane. Closures could be located on North Bound or South Bound I-85.

 

East Spencer Through 2/24/2017

 Maintenance: Lane Closed

 Maintain storm water drainage structures. I-85 North Mile marker 82 to 83

 

Landis Through 5/31/2017

South Central Ave. will be closed to Southbound traffic from Mill St to Hillside St.

China Grove Through 8/29/2017

The Daugherty Road bridge over I-85 is being replaced as part of the I-85 widening project.

China Grove Through 9/1/2017

The Lentz Road bridge over I 85 is being replaced as part of the I 85 widening project.

China Grove Through 1/27/2018

As part of the Railroad Improvement Projects the railroad crossing on Mt. Hope Church Road

Salisbury Through 5/31/2017

Replace the existing the Henderson Grove Church Road Bridge

Rockwell Through 12/31/2017

The causeway of St. Matthews Church Road across High Rock Lake is closed to two way traffic and commercial vehicles.
