Friday Weather Update

Friday, February 3, 2017 - 8:47am

The clouds are out this morning but they will move out as we move into the evening and skies will be clear overnight. The big problem with that is the heat that builds up during the day will escape and we are going to get COLD tonight. The high today will top out at around 44º

The winds today will be fairly light with gust of only around 11 miles per hour at times.

The clouds will move out as we head into the late evening hours and cold air will really start to push into the county.

It is going to get cold tonight. Please bring in those outdoor pets or at the very least ensure they have some where warm to bed down for the night. Check on your elderly loved ones and neighbors. The low tonight will bottom out at around 24º

Please bundle up later today everyone. Again check on pets and loved ones on these cold nights! Enjoy your Friday everyone! As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
