Weather & Wellness: Pain Forecast

Thursday, November 6, 2025 - 9:07am

Thursday, November 6, 2025

As we head toward the weekend, the changing weather pattern will have a noticeable impact for those who deal with joint pain, arthritis, and sinus pressure — especially as the next cold front approaches and pressure begins to drop.

Today

Low pain risk.
High pressure remains in control with calm winds and steady barometric pressure. Most people should feel comfortable today with minimal weather-related discomfort.

Friday–Saturday

Moderate pain risk.
A weak cold front will move through late Friday night into Saturday. The shifting air pressure and rising humidity could trigger mild stiffness or sinus irritation, especially for those sensitive to weather swings.

Sunday–Monday

High pain risk.
Two strong fronts in quick succession will cause sharp pressure drops and strong temperature swings. Sunday’s gusty winds and Monday’s cold surge could increase joint stiffness, inflammation, and sinus pain. Expect the most noticeable effects Sunday evening into Monday morning as temperatures fall nearly 30 degrees.

Looking Ahead

After Monday’s hard freeze, pressure levels will stabilize, and conditions should feel much more consistent midweek, with pain risk dropping back to low.

Seasonal Wrap-Up

Monday, November 10, will be the final Weather & Wellness: Pain Forecast of the season. These updates will return in early March, just ahead of the spring weather transition.
