Rain Update for this week

We are finally starting to see the best rain chances we have had in sometime here in the county. Beginning late tomorrow and occurring off and on through Thursday morning. The only concern I have is the amounts have trended back down a bit. However, I am not surprised as well. We have some really dry air that has been in place for sometime. It will have to rain for a while before it reaches the ground. As of right now I am expecting the rain to start in the overnight hours from Monday to Tuesday. 

I would not be surprised if this starts off as a mist or very light rain before we start to see any heavy downpours. As I said accumulation totals have come down a bit but I am not surprised. I m forecasting around an inch of rain for the county between now and Thursday morning. These totals will fluctuate a little bit over the next few days.
