Rain Chances for Next Wednesday

We have had some time go by since we have had anything that could be considered significant rainfall here in the county and also in the western mountains where all of the wildfires are burning. I do not like to look ahead to 7 days in the forecast period but this is something encouraging and worth keeping an eye on. We could see as much as two inches of rain next week in the mountains and pretty close to an inch of rain here in the county. I will continue to monitor the model data as it comes in but as you can tell form the picture below this is encouraging news!
