Saturday Weather Update

We are in for a very windy and breezy Saturday. The bad news is this is not a good situation for the wildfires in the North Carolina Mountains. Conditions will change throughout the day in terms of air quality. We could see some periods of smoke moving through the county as the winds change from blowing from the south to blowing from the northeast. The high today will top out around 64º

The winds will be gusty at times up to around 28 miles per hour.

The dew points are extremely low keeping the air dry and feeling pleasant outside.

A very chilly night is on tap with the low bottoming out around 30º
