A large area of showers and thunderstorms continues to organize around a broad low pressure system located about midway between the Windward Islands and the west coast of Africa.

A tropical depression or storm is likely to form in the next day or two as it moves WNW to NW at 10–15 mph.

A tropical wave just moved off the west coast of Africa, producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
