HAMPTON, Ga. (June 27, 2025) — Joey Logano will lead the field to green Saturday night at EchoPark Speedway after securing the pole for the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart, continuing his dominance at the Georgia oval.

The defending race winner and reigning NASCAR Cup Series Champion posted a lap of 30.979 seconds at 178.96 mph in his No. 22 Team Penske Ford, earning his 31st career pole and first of the 2025 season.

“Being up front and in control in this race is the name of the game,” Logano said after qualifying. “There’s a lot of ‘what-ifs’ that play out in this race… I think it’s a hard thing to try to accomplish, but starting from the pole definitely helps.”

In a rare twist, Josh Berry matched Logano’s time and speed exactly, but was placed second on the grid due to a tiebreaker based on owner points. That puts both front-row starters in Fords, with Ryan Blaney and Austin Cindric—also from the Team Penske stable—starting third and fourth.

The top ten for Saturday’s race also includes Ryan Preece, Brad Keselowski, Cole Custer, Zane Smith, Alex Bowman, and Chase Briscoe.

This weekend’s race is the opening round of NASCAR’s brand-new In-Season Tournament, a $1 million, bracket-style competition involving 32 drivers. The Quaker State 400 is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping early tournament matchups and momentum.
