(June 24, 2025) – NASCAR Night lived up to the hype during Round 4 of the Cook Out Summer Shootout as both Kyle and Brexton Busch stormed to Victory Lane, each capturing their third win of the season on Charlotte Motor Speedway’s legendary quarter-mile. The father-son sweep headlined a night full of high-octane action and fan-favorite finishes that electrified the crowd.
Brexton Busch Continues Bandits Domination
In the Bandolero Bandits feature, Brexton Busch showed once again why he’s the one to beat. Originally starting fourth, Busch capitalized on a pre-race penalty to James Behnke and jumped into the pole position before the green flag. Once the race was underway, the young Busch was unstoppable—building a lead of over two seconds en route to a commanding win, his third in just four rounds.
The battle behind him was a different story, as Behnke, Teagan Knowland, Gerald White III, and Maverick Bradshaw delivered a thrilling contest for the runner-up position. Knowland surged to second by Lap 11 before Behnke fought back with an inside move to reclaim it. The final order saw Behnke second, Knowland third, White IV fourth, and Bradshaw rounding out the top five.
Kyle Busch Adds to Charlotte Legacy
The elder Busch put on a masterclass in the American Rebel Ale Masters Division, leading from green to checkered and avoiding multiple cautions that shuffled much of the field. Kyle Busch, who already owns 19 career wins across NASCAR’s top three series at Charlotte Motor Speedway, stayed out front through every restart, never letting the field get within striking distance.
Shawn Parker took second, with Jesse Bunnell, Lee Jordan, and Brandin Wrisley completing the top five.
Cash Lecroy Makes It Three Straight
Another name cementing a hot streak was Cash Lecroy, who grabbed his third straight win in the Chargers division. After starting second, Lecroy wasted no time moving to the front. A Lap 2 pile-up brought out the caution, but Lecroy and polesitter Thomas Harris escaped unscathed. When racing resumed, Lecroy pounced—slipping by Harris on Lap 7 and never looking back.
With the race ending under caution after another late incident, Lecroy sealed the victory ahead of Rhylee Hutchins and Brexton Busch, who also scored a podium finish in the Chargers race. Knox Bryant and Thomas Harris rounded out the top five.
