His weekend started with a career-first pole position, clocking a lap of 53.126 seconds (169.409 mph) in qualifying. He followed that up with a wire-to-wire effort to hold off late-race chaos and secure the win.

“I’m on cloud nine,” Riggs said in Victory Lane. “This is not one I had circled. Last year we were 30th in a backup truck. Today, we were the best. Huge thanks to Bare Knuckle Boxing — they’ve got a fight tonight in Nashville, tune in on Vice TV — and to this whole FRM team. We’re playoff bound.”

Riggs credited his pit crew for gaining spots on pit road and praised the team’s latest truck build, noting how far they've come from last year’s struggles at Pocono.

Chandler Smith recovered from a difficult second stage to rally for a 7th-place finish, keeping himself firmly in the championship hunt. Despite missing stage points in the second segment, his consistent speed late paid off.

“Not a great day on the 38 side but I’m proud of the way we fought,” Smith said. “Happy for Layne and the 34 guys. We’ve got the pace to keep pushing forward this summer and make some playoff noise.”

Up Next: Darlington

With Riggs now locked into the playoffs and Smith sitting second in points, Front Row Motorsports heads to Darlington Raceway with momentum and confidence.

“Darlington? I love that track,” Riggs added. “Let’s go.”
