After several warm — and occasionally stormy — days across Rowan County, a cooler and drier stretch is just around the corner. If you are planning anything outdoors this weekend, the timing looks perfect.


Friday: A Few Storm Chances Before the Cooldown

Friday still brings some lingering storm chances, mainly late in the afternoon and evening.

  • Chance of showers and storms: 30 percent after 3 PM, increasing to 40 percent before midnight

Saturday: Sunshine Returns
