The bigger weather change arrives this weekend as a cold front moves through, bringing a better chance of rain and thunderstorms followed by noticeably cooler temperatures and lower humidity for Sunday and early next week.

Expect mostly sunny skies with temperatures climbing to around 95° this afternoon. When you factor in the humidity, it will feel more like 100 to 102 degrees during the hottest part of the day. While most locations stay dry, a 20% chance of an isolated afternoon thunderstorm develops after 3 PM. Any storm that forms could produce brief heavy rain, gusty winds, and frequent lightning.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with a 30% chance of a shower or thunderstorm before 11 PM. Overnight lows fall to around 71°.

Thursday and Friday remain very similar.
