Strawberry Season Begins at Patterson Farm – Pick Your Own Starts April 17

Strawberry season has officially arrived in Rowan County, and Patterson Farm is ready to welcome visitors back to the fields.

Fresh pre-picked strawberries are already available in the market, and starting Friday, April 17, guests can head out for Pick-Your-Own strawberries as the 2026 season gets underway.


Pick Your Own Strawberries

Guests can enjoy picking their own strawberries during the following hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 12 PM – 6 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 10 AM – 6 PM
    (Weather and crop conditions permitting)

New for 2026

Due to the location of this year’s crop, wagon rides are required to access the strawberry fields.

Visitors choosing the Pick-Your-Own option only will need to reserve a wagon ride time when purchasing admission.


Pick Your Own Pricing

  • Field Admission: $5 per person (ages 2+)
  • Strawberries are sold separately by container size:
    • Half Busket (approx. 2.5 lbs): $9
    • Busket (approx. 5 lbs): $18

Spring Fun on the Farm

Make it a full day with Fun on the Farm, which includes access to the strawberry fields plus additional activities.

Weekday Pricing:

  • Online: $14.99
  • Gate: $17.99

Weekend Pricing:

  • Online: $16.99
  • Gate: $19.99

Admission includes:

  • Barnyard and playground access
  • Weekend extras: Wagon rides & Cow Train rides

Strawberries are not included in admission and must be purchased separately.


Market & Ice Cream Shop

Just want to stop by? No problem — no admission is required to visit the Market and Ice Cream Shop.
