Strong Storms Moving Southeast Across the Area Tonight

A line of strong thunderstorms is moving southeast this evening, impacting areas north and east of Rowan County and continuing across the Piedmont.

As of 8:35 PM, Doppler radar shows storms extending from near Yadkinville to Cleveland to Kannapolis, moving southeast around 35 mph.
