Rowan County Weather Headed Back to the Cheerwine Festival

Mark your calendars — one of Rowan County’s biggest events of the year is returning to downtown Salisbury.

The 2026 Cheerwine Festival will take place Saturday, May 16 from 10 AM to 7 PM in downtown Salisbury, celebrating the hometown soda that has become a Southern favorite.

Each year the festival brings together thousands of visitors for a full day of live music, food trucks, Cheerwine-inspired dishes, craft vendors, family activities, and plenty of Cheerwine.

Last year’s event welcomed more than 100,000 visitors and generated millions in economic impact for Rowan County, showing just how big this celebration has become.
