This Afternoon:
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue through the afternoon. The most widespread rain and gusty winds are expected between 4 and 5 PM as a cold front moves through the region.
High near 75°F, with a 60 percent chance of rain and wind gusts up to 29 mph.
Tonight:
Showers will end early, followed by gradual clearing and much cooler conditions. Lows will drop to around 44°F with west winds 10–15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph.
Cooler, drier air arrives to start the week, setting up a stretch of true fall weather for Rowan County.
