An area of low pressure may form near the northwestern Bahamas and southern Florida in the next day or two. Development looks slow, but the system will move across Florida and into the Gulf of Mexico.

Central Tropical Atlantic:
A tropical wave is set to move off Africa soon and merge with another disturbance in the eastern Atlantic. Some slow development is possible as it tracks west to west-northwest at 15–20 mph.
