Mosquito Forecast

Sunday, September 14, 2025 - 8:45am

Current Conditions
With recent dry weather, mosquito activity has been somewhat limited. However, as we head into early this week, changing conditions may increase activity.

Near-Term Outlook

Sunday–Monday: Light winds and mild evenings will support moderate mosquito activity, especially around shaded areas, standing water, and near vegetation.

Tuesday–Wednesday: Rain chances return. Even light showers can quickly refresh breeding sites, setting up higher mosquito activity later in the week.

Late Week: As drier air returns, mosquito numbers may ease somewhat, but warm afternoons and humid nights will still provide favorable conditions.

Takeaway
Expect moderate mosquito activity through early week, with a likely uptick following midweek showers. Evening outdoor activities may need extra protection — repellents, long sleeves, or avoiding areas near standing water are recommended.
