advertise your local business here »HAMPTON, Ga. — It’s race week at EchoPark Speedway, and fans are already rolling in from around the world for one of the most anticipated weekends on the NASCAR calendar — the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart.
On Monday, EchoPark Speedway officially opened its exterior campgrounds, kicking off a week of festivities leading into Atlanta’s only NASCAR night race. Thousands of motorhomes, RVs, tents, and pop-ups will soon fill the infield and surrounding areas as fans settle in for a full slate of racing action.
This year’s weekend is more international than ever. Fans from 49 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, and 22 foreign countries are expected to descend on the 1.54-mile oval. The international guest list includes visitors from:
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, South Korea, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates.
Weekend Lineup: Racing Under the Lights
The action begins Friday night, June 27, with the Focused Health 250, featuring rising stars from the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Then on Saturday, June 28, NASCAR’s biggest names take center stage in the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart, the official launch of the inaugural In-Season Bracket Challenge.
The Cup Series race will double as the first round of NASCAR’s new $1 million tournament, where 32 drivers will battle head-to-head in a bracket-style format throughout the summer stretch. With added pressure, playoff implications, and money on the line, Saturday night promises high-stakes drama under the lights.
