A strong thunderstorm is tracking across western Rowan County this evening and is expected to impact the area through 6:00 PM.
As of 5:09 PM, Doppler radar indicated the storm was located approximately 7 miles west of Salisbury, near the area north of China Grove. It is moving northeast at 25 mph.
