A strong thunderstorm, located just south of Mocksville near Cooleemee, is tracking northeast at 35 mph and is expected to impact parts of Davie County and northwestern Rowan County over the next 30 minutes.

HAZARDS:

• Wind gusts up to 40 mph

• Pea-size hail

Areas potentially affected include:

• Cooleemee

• Mocksville

• Woodleaf

• Advance

• Fork Church

• Farmington

• Bermuda Run

Impacts:

• Gusty winds may knock down tree limbs or blow around unsecured outdoor objects.

• Small hail could cause minor damage to plants, vehicles, or outdoor furniture.
