High pressure has settled across the Carolinas, bringing clear skies, calm winds, and an ideal setup for afternoon heating. Without much wind to mix the air, the sun’s influence becomes even more noticeable, allowing temperatures to rise quickly during the day.

Today’s high is expected to reach near 77 degrees under sunny skies. Warmer weather will continue through midweek, with forecasts calling for:

• Tuesday: High near 79 degrees

• Wednesday and Thursday: Highs in the low to mid 80s

This warming trend will make it feel more like the start of summer rather than a typical spring day.

Humidity Beginning to Increase
