Saturday, March 29, 2025 - 8:31am
OVERVIEW

A cold front will cross the area Monday, bringing showers and scattered thunderstorms to the region. A few of those storms may be strong to severe, with damaging winds being the main threat.

TIMING ▪ Monday afternoon and evening, the front will track from west to east across the region.

HAZARDS & IMPACTS
▪ Damaging wind gusts will be the main threat, which may knock down trees and power lines.
▪ Large hail and isolated tornadoes will be possible.

FORECAST CHALLENGES
▪ Storms will likely be ongoing as the front approaches from the west. There is still a lot of uncertainty on how much the storms will weaken as they push into the area early Monday.
▪ Also, models disagree on how quickly the front passes through, if it crosses earlier in the day, the severe threat may shift more to our east.
