INCREASED FIRE DANGER FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING

Very dry conditions are expected to continue Friday afternoon,
with minimum relative humidity in the 20-25% range across most of
the region. Wind gusts of 20-25 mph are expected during the
afternoon, along with very dry fuels. Therefore, enhanced fire
danger conditions will continue.

A statewide burn ban remains in place in North Carolina until
further notice.
