advertise your local business here »CONCORD, NC (July 18, 2024) – The Cook Out Summer Shootout trials continue July 23, as the ceremonial Summer Games Night, presented by Trackhouse Motorplex makes its debut in a full slate of Legend Car and Bandolero racing.
Round 9 will be filled with fierce competition as drivers vie for a podium finish. Off the track, fans can expect thrilling disciplines of complex obstacle courses, a battle of break-dancing dads, mind-blowing power lifts, rhythmic gymnastics with Lug Nut and more.
Adding to the thrill of the games, in the highly-anticipated track-and-field category, the personalities you love from Dirty Mo Media will meet the quarter-mile. Following opening ceremonies, get ready to witness the team take on a different type of trek in an on-foot, 400-meter dash. The event will be a blend of fun, speed and the unexpected as they race to the finish line.
Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with a special opening ceremony to begin at 6 p.m. Relay the message to your friends and family and come put your hat in the ring for a shot at a gold medal.
Due to the weather postponement, Round 8 will take place at noon Tuesday, fans are invited to fill the grandstands at 5 p.m. for Round 9. Previously purchased Round 8 tickets will be honored at the gate for Round 9.
DRIVER TO WATCH:
Fans won’t be the only ones fighting for a winning finish on Tuesday, as Bojangles Outlaws driver, TJ Moon looks to pick up his fifth win of the season. Leading in both INEX and Cook Out Summer Shootout points, Moon is one to watch heading into the last few rounds of racing. After already claiming wins in Rounds 2, 3, 6 and 7, Moon is eager to strike gold and extend his 23-point lead in Rounds 8 and 9 to solidify his season title.
